Spitfire Project Update from the Parnall Aircraft Company

Static Fuselage Structure - Parnall Aircraft Company

This week on the static air frame, the first of the painted fuselage structure has been placed into the jig. Painting is courtesy of the Vintage Aircraft Factory at Newquay Airport. The drilling of many rivet holes in the rear structure has also continued, prior to being dismantled for painting.

This week, the wing team have continued in their quest to outdo the fuselage chaps in the amount of holes drilled.

Activity in the Wing Shed - Parnall Aircraft Company

On BL688 the last two fuselage frames are being formed using loaned formers. More on this next week.
